Pay with crypto: USDC, EURC or SOL

Wohnzimmer der Maisonette in der Liechtensteinstraße, Wien-Alsergrund

When you book directly on happystay.at, you pay the way you like: by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or with cryptocurrency. We accept USDC, EURC and SOL on the Solana network, for every apartment in Vienna, Klagenfurt and Villach. You do not need a credit card for this.

What you need

  • ·A Solana wallet, for example Phantom or Solflare.
  • ·The coin on the Solana network. USDC on Ethereum or Base won’t work here.
  • ·A little SOL for the network fee. It is less than 1 cent.
  • ·Pay from your own wallet, not directly from an exchange. Any refund goes to the address you paid from.

How to pay

  • ·Choose your apartment and dates and enter your details as usual.
  • ·In the last step, choose “Crypto” and your coin. You see the amount right away.
  • ·Scan the QR code with your wallet. On your phone, tap “Open in your wallet app”. Amount and recipient are already filled in.
  • ·Confirm in your wallet. Done.

As soon as your payment is confirmed on the network, we book the apartment for you automatically. This works even if you have already closed the browser window. The confirmation arrives by email.

Which coin suits you?

  • ·EURC is pegged to the euro. The amount is almost exactly the price in euros.
  • ·USDC is pegged to the US dollar. We convert the euro price at the current rate.
  • ·SOL has a fluctuating price. We convert the euro price at the current rate.

Good to know

  • ·The amount shown is valid for 30 minutes. Your payment must reach us within that time.
  • ·You pay the network fee. The amount shown must arrive with us.
  • ·If too little arrives, or it arrives too late, no booking is made. We refund the amount, minus the network fee.
  • ·If you cancel, we refund the refundable part as the same number of coins you paid. Neither side carries an exchange-rate risk.
  • ·The same cancellation terms apply as for every direct booking.

What the blockchain shows

A blockchain is public. Your wallet address, the amount and the time are visible to everyone. We do not write your name or booking number to it. More on this in our privacy policy and in our terms, section 4.
